Welcome Joe!



I am excited to announce that Joe Mynhardt has joined the staff as the new editor for the Railroad! webserial. While I am sad to see Stephanie move onto other things, I am really grateful for all of the years I got to work with her. She made magic with the words and will certainly be a hard act to follow.

Joe brings  years of experience as an author, a publisher and a teacher to the serial. He will pick up editing on Volume Nine: Princess and the Peak, which is in his hot hands right now. We hope to hang onto Joe for many years to come.

Here is a little more about Joe:

Joe Mynhardt is a South African horror writer, publisher, editor and teacher with over fifty short story publications. He has appeared in dozens of publications and collections, among them FOR THE NIGHT IS DARK (with Jasper Bark, Tonia Brown, Scott Nicholson etc.). Joe is also the owner and operator of Crystal Lake Publishing. He has published and edited PAUL KANE’S SLEEPER(S) and DANIEL I. RUSSELL’S TRICKS, MISCHIEF AND MAYHEM. Upcoming collections Joe have edited include FEAR THE REAPER (Rick Hautala, Jeremy C. Shipp etc.), WILLIAM MEIKLE’S SAMURAI AND OTHER STORIES, THE OUTSIDERS (Simon Bestwick, Gary McMahon etc.), CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE (Joe McKinney, Armand Rosamilia etc.) and TALES FROM THE LAKE VOL.1 (Graham Masterton, Tim Curran etc.). His collection of short stories, LOST IN THE DARK, is available through Amazon.
